The Lounge is a long-time favorite of the upscale and ultra-hip. Lots of fancy rooms, filled with a diverse, but well-dressed crowd. Dress code is usually enforced. The drinks at the lounge are a bit over-priced, but the Long Islands are the best deal. The Lounge is open Thurs-Sunday and features multiple rooms of live DJ's. The main room is usually house or techno spun by local Djs. The other room is R&B and good hip-hop party music. The lounge is a great place for dancing, but dress well and act cool or you may feel a bit out of place.
The decor is excellent and something straight out of a Puff Daddy video. Great for lounging, dancing, or just trying to fit in.

Hv Dj'd here a few times, have drank here a few times. Very nice club, older crowd, less dumb college kids. Love the house music. Too bad all of Mpls cant enjoy House as much as Top 40 :/

Cosmo was right about the crowd being unreliable - great one night and horrible another. Over the years, this has generally followed a definite trend. Friday = pretentious, aloof, trendy scenesters. Saturday = ecclectic, friendly, fun...scenesters.

Decided to throw a B-day party here with about 50 people and rented out two of their Prive's on a Friday night. Bad idea! Their service was questionable at best and they cut off a few of my friends from drinking. Ok, this happens people get drunk...they then cut me off for no reason and then threw me out for having a sip of a friends drink later in the evening. Creepy people working in a suspect bar. This place should be condemned and demolished immediately.

I've been going here since it opened and I love the Lounge. Consistently skilled DJs, respectful people (well, much moreso than at other MSP clubs), all right drinks, and while most people come in carefully meditated outfits, my girlfriends and I've never been turned away for baggy trousers and Adidas.
