Get in The Loop, the newest edition to the downtown Minneapolis bar scene. Its a great neighborhood bar featuring some of the best bar food in Minneapolis. Brick oven pizzas, gourmet sandwiches, and delicious salads are the just part of their notable menu.

The decor is contemporary urban and large comfortable booths and high tables surround a long wooden bar. The Loop also makes great drinks; 10 Taps and higher-end rail pours line the long central bar. The Loop is also a great place to watch the game, plenty of plasmas are hung on the brick walls giving everyone a great view.

I've only ate here twice, but both times the food was very subpar. Friday and Saturday night crowd can be decent, but it's not as good as it was in 2007 or early 2008.

My friend and I were here last night to watch the Biden-Palin debate, and management and staff did their best to make sure we were comfortable, well-stocked with drinks and food, and could even hear over the music. Thank you Loop -- you have new customers!

Awesome bar food, and exceptional service. I love Wine Wednesday and Rachel the blonde bomb shell bartender is seriously the best around. They have great drink specials and the crowd and workers are exceptionally fun to talk to and look at. Stop in and check it out tell them Tom sent ya!

This place is great, but what's up with the velvet rope on the weekends? It turns a cool and comfy place-to-be into a cheesy place real fast.

The food and drinks are just OK, and it's chock full of d-bags on the weekends now. The Loop is not cool, unless you think cool is squeezing your way past droves of post-college frat boys and waiting 20 minutes for a drink.
