Agree with others that the prices are a little high, always have had good service, the Artichoke dip is the best anywhere. Basically go there when you need a good Irish brew. Otherwise, there are cheaper places.

Dont go there for lunch its too damn slow, you will sit there for at least an hour. and the 2 of us only ordered chicken salad sandwiches! (which arent very good, get the reuben if you have tons of time to kill)

Kieran's is a fantastic old bar and features the Tim Malloys (!!) on Fridays. Their waitstaff is usually lovely, too. However, I went some weeks ago with a few friends and our waiter, despite the fact that everybody at the table was nothing but congenial, was a complete ass -- we suspected it was because some of us were wearing fur coats. I did not appreciate his judgmental, provincial attitude and am taking my Irish-pub business down the road to the Local.

It's not fantastic because their happy hour prices are the same as most bars normal prices.

The happy hour starts at 11:00...how can that be anything but fantastic?
