OPEN WEEKENDS: NEW IMPERIAL LOUNGE(new 2nd level lounge stocked with leather couches, flat screen tv's and a relaxing atmosphere...) + Fri-Sat (9pm-12am): $3 Jag Bombs, Domestic Bottles, $5 Vodka Redbulls, $6 40Fusion & $90 Bottle Service 10-12!

The Imperial room is always a good time. It is a Bar-Lounge that has a little something for everyone. They usually feature live music and an upscale setting. Getting a seat is usually pretty easy; its also especially nice because Imperial Room has lots of nice plush leather seats to lounge around it. They also have outdoor seating during the summer. Its just a few tables, but a great spot to hang for a night out and people watching.

The music is good, specials are frequent, and the help is dependable. Music is usually house or 80's played by local dj crews. The dancefloor is small, (and therefore usually packed) but everyone will make room for you as the need arises. As far as downtown goes, the Imperial Room is slightly more laid-back than its neighbors, but is one of our favorite places to go for great drink specials and a good time.

FEATURE: Great happy hour includes ALL 10 Great Taps, Including Bells, Bass, Stella.... Plus, NEVER A COVER!

Well I gave it a 5 for one reason and that Chris Hole the bar keep. Funny, good guy. He even helps ya out with the ladies!!! Can be ghetto, but its not a bad place

Fox's comment has to make me laugh, he so obviously must have gotten shot down. IR is a hot spot on the weekends- yes very crowded so come earlier to set your territory. Prices are great and service is better then any of the other nightlife bars.

IR seemed the place to be a couple Saturdays ago - it was packed w/people streaming in and out of their dance room, which was pumping a fun dance-pop mix that was a clear hit with the typical warehouse-dt crowd. Unfortunately, this stream of dancer-drinkers & going-outside-smokers put me in an uncomfortable vortex of cold air and sweaty people spilling drinks. As to be expected from a popular DT spot; I'm normally right there twirling & drinking, too. So all is good & fine (i'm glad they found a way to bring ppl in & make $$), it's just not what I expected IR to be.. so I'll check out this place on a less crowded night...

Best budget spot on first ave. $3 drinks on the weekend and no cover. Nothing competes with this place on a friday or saturday night.
