Thrifty Hipster

The last two times I've been here were so bad that I won't be returning. The staff is rude- and the food was horrible. I ordered the caesar salad, which had instead of a pleasdant dressing, some sort of thick mayo on it. The steak my friend got was charred on the outside and inedible. The guac ( three avocado halves and out-of-the-jar salsa) "made freshly at our table" was a joke, and definately not worth the ?12.00? price.

Made the trip downtown especially for the brunch and could not have treated more rudely. The hostess acted as tho it was an imposition to seat us-mainly because we had a small child with us. She finally told us they did not have room for a party of 5 and that we should try next weekend. We said we doubted we would do that and her reply was that we should plan ahead. We went over to Keyes and could not have had a better experience. We have liked Ikes in the past but this will be the last time we go there-too many other good places to eat!

The ambience and menu lured us in; however, the service and bartender made us want to leave and not pay our tab. There are too many people that would want his job... LEAVE if you are not happy!! Good Lord! The food was good.... the bartender, ehhh, no.

Waitress was just terrible. Rude, slow service, and the mini burgers were literally the size of burned quarters. I keep going back thinking it's a one time thing but I think I may give up on this place despite the good burgers and cookies.

Agreed, very rude staff. Both times I have been there they seem to have the dreaded "Holier than thou" server problem, happens when you know everything and become complacent(see The Local).
