Gameworks is a huge complex that centers itself as THE primeir arcade in the twin cities. They have several floors, multiple bars, and a large staff. It almost reminds me of a Las Vegas casino without the gambling (although they do have a horse racing game that is quite popular).
They have huge game screens and the newest and best systems. The only problem is the price. I don't know who decided expensive ellaborate video games were the wave of the new downtown, becuase although they are fun, I have a hard time plopping down $20 for an hour worth of gameplay (actual time may vary).
The bowling is a little more reasonable if you bring a group and stay for a few hours becuase it gets cheaper by the hour. Upstairs houses about 10 lanes. All-in-All, I would say GameWorks is fun to those of us in the video game generation, just don't expect to come out with a buch of change left. And oh, it is almost impossible to use all your points on your card in one nite. You always seem to have a few left over. They are open until 12am during the week and 2am on weekends.
