Envy Nightclub is the new Fahrenheit Nightclub (spring 2007). Featuring a contemporary decor for upscale clubbing. Two rooms feature multiple options for all tastes. An open front room with plentiful seating an bumping house DJ playing House and World music. The second room features a large dance floor plays Top 40 and Hip Hop. There are also 2 VIP options overlooking the dance floor.
The crowd comes dressed-to-impress and to have a good time dancing. If you're coming to Envy leave your tennis shoes and baseball hats at home, a moderate dress code is enforced.

Don't check your stuff in the coat room. I had things taken out of my jacket, when I called the managers about it I never heard back. I stopped in another night to see if the coat check girl was working, and she was wearing the earrings she took out of my jacket. Tried the managers again, no luck. Not worth going into if they will steal from you.

As far as clubs go, the weekends at Envy are ok, WAY better than Spin (cheesy 18+ club) or Aqua (horrendous DJ's and sound quality). Sure, drinks are pricey, its a downtown club! In comparison to the others though, its less than the lounge, which is my main choice for clubbing, but the 414 Sound bar is quickly becoming my new favorite. Try those out too!

Let's get a little better rating on the front page here, a 1-5 seems more appropriate for this place. Go read all the rest of the comments & you'll see= over priced drinks, crappy service (except for Donna) & bouncers who make you wait in line when there are 2 people in there. If you're looking for a more "upscale" club downtown, then go to Aqua or even spin.

Great atmosphere downtown Minneapolis. The music was hot, drinks were great and reasonable. Ladies, you never have to wait in line for the bathroom at this place! You can do what you came there to do and that is party!
