Club House Jager is a new addition to the North Loop area of downtown... The owners wanted something cool, something unique, and we think they did it. Jager is a great bar with grandiose old wood style decor with a friendly neighborhood feel. The concept is to have a classy, yet laid-back bar that encourages socializing between groups and becoming a steady regular. Jager is proud that it doesn't have TV's, but that it does have a great patio and smoking area, and a good Tap Beer list, including Bodington's and "Jager Beer" (Sprecher Amber).

NOTE: Food is very limited, Jager does not have a kitchen so finger food and snacks are all you can get...

Free Parking and a 2-4-1 happy hour make it especially attractive to a downtown happy hour crowd.

The place is beutiful, but the ownership represents what I hate about the bar industry.

Hah, I agree with Hmmm regarding the service. Either the bartenders are totally dense duches, or they are stoned.

Great place -- Great Beers -- Nice Patio... They actually have a kitchen... just no deep frier / flame grill... They have hot sandwiches and home-made pizzas in addition to finger food. I'd had the both the Little and King Ludwig pizzas and a couple of the sandwiches -- all good. Much better than typical barfood fare.

Belhaven on tap! Awesome patio, awesome tunes on Wednesday. Never been on the weekend, though.

wednesday night at jager feels like an 80s prom night, from music to how people are dressed! pretty fun! awesome patio with a fire!
