Champps bar has lasted in downtown Minneapolis for quite some time. Its your average sports bar that gets super packed on the weekends. Along the side of Champps is Minneapolis Downtown's most frequented and famous patio areas, but its not for sitting, its for being loud, meeting a hottie, and checking out the sweet motorcycles that are consistently parked in front.
We don't go very often, but lots of friends do; a good looking crowd, the outdoor area in the summer, plus big-screen tv's for the winter makes it worthwhile. Their best draw is the patio because its large, open, active, packed, and easy to get a drink at. Their menu consists of typical bar food at average prices. The best part of Champps, its usually a pretty happening place and is popular, especially with the suburbia crowd that came in to downtown to party!
