Brits Pub is located in the heart of downtown across from Orchestra Hall. It is a large complex that offers multiple rooms, high ceilings, and 3 outdoor patios. It is styled as an English Pub, with old polished woodwork and a great beer selection. The crowd is young professional to older upper-middle - upper class. Most people wear slacks and dress shirts, but there is no dress code.
Brits has multiple brews on tap from all over the world (normal cost is about $5/pint). Brits Pub is great for all seasons!
Summer: Downtown Rooftop lawn bowling (it’s best to come sign-up to play for open bowling, usually after 9pm).
Winter: 4 Fireplaces, 3 bar areas, and great event spaces perfect for any relaxed occasion.
They also host world cup soccer events and are one of the only English pubs that is consistently visited by the English people living in Minneapolis.
THRIFTY TIP- most meters usually end by 10pm so show up later. You can get earlier meters or find off street parking a few blocks away around 13th & Nicollet. The meters on 11th end at 6pm.
