Barfly was the first of many upscale clubs to open in Downtown Minneapolis. Many of the original partiers left here to go the the next newest thing, which is what they'll do.
Barfly is still kickin though! Rather than depending on steady dance nights, the club made a switch and regularly brings in big name dance music acts. They also have "The Loft" upstairs for large concerts and private events. It is a huge club with a modern, trendy interior and a large dance floor. They play live loud Top 40 and dance music nightly with live music on Thursdays.
