Very fun small place, good atmosphere, good for local band venues. Great place to take a date.

A second attempt to post an honest perspective of this up and new place. The claim is they can play any song, but you'll never know, as it should be disclaimed, by "any song that we like". Some 5 plus efforts later, they still would not play a requested Barry Manilow pick. We'll assume this isn't related to any ani-sematic feelings, since they didn't play Celin Dion either or Andree Boccelli. They get the three stars for creating a genuinely fun atmosphere and the adaptation of "I write the songs" to "I've got the schlong". Give them credit for creativity and humor. The short of it, it's a great place for people under 30, but I'd discourage any Lawrence Welk fans from spending their time or request dollars there.

One of the most legendary venues in the US! Stiff drinks, and the filthiest bathroom in MPLS. One of the worst in the entire US really. Go see the "next big thing."

This is where it's happening in local up and coming music. It can be hit or miss though, so check the website to see if there's anything good. Do any research, and you'll be blown away by the history of the place in the minneapolis music scene. enjoy.

How they get away with the appalling bathroom situation is something I will never understand. Sound quality variable. Cheap bar, though.

A great intimate space to see shows! Only having 1 bathroom (& the most disgusting 1 in all of downtown at that) can be a pain (at times quite litteraly) but that half the funky charm.

F*CK YEAH!!! I love the Entry. It's the best place to see a show. Atmosphere is playing seven nights in a row in January. I can't wait.
