The smaller side entrace of First Avenue club is an original dingy concert venue. A true classic and intimate space for seeing a show. If you haven't been to the Entry, its time you made it down. Check out the website for the concert calendar.

14:10 07.29.06 A second attempt to post an honest perspective of this up and new place. The claim is they can play any song, but you'll never know, as it should be disclaimed, by "any song that we like". Some 5 plus efforts later, they still would not play a requested Barry Manilow pick. We'll assume this isn't related to any ani-sematic feelings, since they didn't play Celin Dion either or Andree Boccelli. They get the three stars for creating a genuinely fun atmosphere and the adaptation of "I write the songs" to "I've got the schlong". Give them credit for creativity and humor. The short of it, it's a great place for people under 30, but I'd discourage any Lawrence Welk fans from spending their time or request dollars there.
