It's certainly not "classic rave scene", but 414 Soundbar is a lovely place, as somebody else said, like the Lounge, and, to me, Tabu, back in the day. I appreciate how people of all colors and orientations are welcome.

Bouncer was somewhat rude to me and my friends. He lied about something to attempt to get me to pay even though I was on the guest list (but after proving who I was I got my money back later). The owner and higher up staff are cool. The place needs more people though, as it felt empty both times I was there. Doesn't help that it's located right behind a freeway. Also the dancefloor in front and the one in back make it kind of confusing, because people dance in both spots, but there's not enough people dancing in either spot to keep the people dancing there. The interior has style and potential though. Also note, this place is popular for attracting gay/bisexual types, which might be cool for some, but the straight people might feel a little out of the ordinary if no other straight people show up that night.

I find it lame when staff pretend to be patorns and rate their own bar. What's funnier is tht the same person with the same grammer habits takes on different characters. LAME!!!
