The 112 Eatery is one of the top restaurants in Minneapolis. More of a restaurant than a bar, this is the place for a date or when family is in town and you want to take them somewhere impressive. It is consistently packed from open to close regardless of the night, it is relatively small with tiny booths stretching back past the kitchen. The menu changes regularly, but there are a few staples like the 112 Burger stuffed with butter and onions topped with brie cheese on an english muffin ($9), though most entrees run in the $17-25 range. One neat feature though is that you can order 1/2 orders of the pasta dishes, letting you try more of the menu or keep it light. They also have an excellent wine list, have the server recommend one, they are prompt, professional, and attentive.
Overall, we highly recommend the 112 Eatery, even if they are lacking a happy hour.

The food at 112 is amazing. The cauliflower fritters and lamb scottaditto are excellent, and the mussels come in a huge serving for an unbelievable $10. The strigozzi with lamb and the tagliatelle with fois gras meatballs are immensely flavorful, and they come in half-sizes which I love, because I prefer trying lots of menu items when I go out to eat. I've always received great service here. Oh, and the late hours are really convenient.
